Last Friday, after running the "Korrika", Scott O´Bar from Santa Barbara, California, talked to the DBH 4 students about his city and explained the reason why he´s in the Basque Country. He didn´t only speak in English, he also spoke in Basque. As he said, he´s been studying Basque since he listened to this language two years ago. When Scott arrived in the States, he decided to buy some books in order to know one of the oldest preindo-european languages. But there he didn´t have a teacher, he studied it on his own. That´s incredible! Now he´s in San Sebastian trying to speak in Basque as much as he can and he´s also very interested in knowing the Basque culture.Scott, thank you very much for your speech and good luck in your future plans!

Harritzekoa eta miresgarria da bere kabuz euskara nola ikasten ari den atzerritar hau; eta bertakoak ordez zailtasunak edo beste erosotasunak direla eta,euskarari merezi duen garrantzia eman gabe!
